Pallets
No. 1 in Germany
A lot has happened since the first pallet was produced here in Torgau. Today we are the largest pallet manufacturer in Germany and the number 1 for Euro pallets in Europe.Our factory has an annual production and drying capacity of 17 million transport pallets of various types. These include EPAL-approved load carriers as well as UIC pallets and over 80 other types of pallets. Consequently, we offer our customers the right load carrier for every product and every industry.Thanks to our integrated production concept, work in a 4-shift system and large storage capacities, we supply our customers reliably and quickly, even under difficult economic conditions. We also live up to our responsibility as market leader by actively participating in industry associations in order to support the future-proof further development of sustainable load carriers.
Biofuels
Certified top quality
We are the largest European manufacturer of round briquettes and one of the first suppliers whose biofuels have been certified by ENplus.
We are proud of both. That’s because it demonstrates that our sustainable production and the idea of using 100 % of each log results in financial success. At the same time, the certification proves the high quality of our products and thus provides buyers and consumers with more security. But it also sets standards in the industry and thus helps shape the market.
Sawmill
Modern technology
Our site in Torgau covers an area of over one million square metres. In addition to the production facilities for a wide range of products and the biomass power plants, it is also home to one of the largest sawmills in Germany. As one of only two large sawmills in Saxony, we are an important partner for many regional forest owners.
Five sawing lines in 4-shift operation ensure the consistently high output of pallets, sawn timber, wood products for the garden and other products. The majority of the process is automated.
State-of-the-art technology and equipment for the various product lines, regular maintenance and investments all ensure a trouble-free process.

Strong position
Since the company was founded, we have strengthened and expanded our market position. Thanks to our product range, our reliability and our quality, we have become an important partner for forest owners, for the shipping industry and for the retail trade. We will strengthened and expanded this position. That is why we continue to invest specifically in the qualification of our employees, in state-of-the-art technology and new facilities. Investment funds in the double-digit millions are available annually for this purpose.
Location
Green centre
For us as a large sawmill, Torgau is an attractive location due to its outstanding location in the centre of a total of five densely wooded areas in eastern Germany.
Thanks to this location advantage, we can buy most of the log wood within a radius of 150 to 200 km. The personal contact and proximity to the forest owners enable quick and straightforward solutions. At the same time, thanks to our closeness to our business partners, we can offer them a comprehensive service package.
The conscious use of wood as a resource is particularly important to us. We contribute to this by sourcing our wood only from sustainably managed forests, using 100 % of each log and respecting climate and environmental protection in all our activities. Because this is the only way we can preserve the forest as a source of raw materials, habitat and recreation area.
